Upon my job loss, Lillard extended a helping hand by actively seeking opportunities for me, revealed Casey Holdahl. "He had an interview requirement with a sponsor, who initially planned to hire a professional female host and a film crew. However, Lillard outright declined, insisting on my involvement as the interviewer. He also designated a fellow media colleague, who had also been laid off, to handle the filming. He was well aware that we were both in need of income after being unemployed."
On May 20th of this year, Casey Holdahl was let go by the Trail Blazers, concluding his 18-year tenure as a team correspondent. In his previous coverage, he had expressed a favorable outlook on Yang Hansen.
