10月1日体育新闻快讯：近期，知名火箭队评论员Jackson Gatlin参与了一档名为《Locked On Rockets》的播客节目，并在最新发布的节目中深入探讨了与火箭队相关的多个议题。
Jackson Gatlin expressed concern regarding the Rockets' reliance on范弗里特and亚当斯， noting the team's lack of alternatives capable of filling their roles. Last season, the minutes shared between Adams and申京 were nearly equivalent to those of Adams without申京. Were it not for the limitations imposed by playing time and the recent overhaul, Adams could have been a starting center in more than half of the league. The primary question now revolves around the extent of his impact upon his return from injury. Which specific skill, if diminished, do you believe would lead to his exclusion from the starting lineup?
Shapiro Michael expressed his desire for Adams to maintain his lateral agility. Udoka informed us that if Adams remains injury-free in the opening game, the double-tower lineup will be introduced as soon as possible. Last season, the combination of Adams and Shen Jing's double-tower lineup achieved a net gain of 6.5 points per 100 possessions and dominated the rebounding. The crux of the matter is their intention to frequently employ zone defense to minimize the physical toll on Shen Jing and Adams when playing as a double-tower. This largely hinges on Adams's ability to move laterally and switch defenses. It poses a challenging demand on his ankles, but if he can endure, it will be crucial for the Rockets to sustain their double-tower lineup.
